The couple was married Aug. 10, 1963, at St. Patrick Church in Kent.

The McCombs have two children: Brian (Michele) McCombs of Stow and Tracy McCombs of Kent; and seven grandchildren: Katy, Matthew, Anne Marie and Grace McCombs of Stow and Courtney, Anthony and Chase McCombs of Kent.

The couple marked their golden wedding anniversary by renewing their vows following a Mass in their honor Aug. 10 at St. Patrick Church with the Rev. Richard Pentello presiding.

A dinner reception hosted by their children and assisted by their grandchildren took place at the KSU Alumni Center for 50 guests (family and close friends).

Special guests included members of the wedding party and Dan's brother, Patrick, of Stow, who served as best man; Steve Yamokoski; Joanne Bica; and Dan's sister, Roberta Antes.

Out of town guests included Joyce's sister, Janis Kirkendall of Los Angeles, Calif. and Brigette Daugherty of Leesberg, Fla.
