The community is invited to the 15th Annual Cuyahoga Classic Show Choir Invitational Competition on Saturday, Feb. 9, in the Cuyahoga Falls High School Auditorium, 2300 Fourth St., beginning at 9 a.m.

More than 1,000 people have attended this event in the past, which features choirs from 12 schools including ETC, Tallmadge, Woodridge, North Royalton and Morgantown, W.Va.

The Green High School Ensemble will make a special guest performance at 11:45, and the Cuyahoga Falls M&M's exhibition performance is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

Awards from the Day Competition will be presented at 5 p.m. The top six choirs will then compete for the

Grand Champion Awards beginning at 7 p.m. and culminating with the awards presentation at 10:15 p.m.

Parking is free; admission to the Classic is $15 for an all day pass or $10 for either the Day Competition or Evening Finals.

Refreshments will be sold in the cafeteria, and souvenir shirts and videos of the performances will be available for purchase as well.

Volunteers are needed for this event, which is both the highlight of the M&M's season as well as the Choral Music Association's largest fundraiser. Persons interested in parking cars, selling refreshments, working in the kitchen or selling tickets call Sonya Coffy, Volunteer Chair, at 330-671-5526.
