The Cleveland Institute of Music Youth String Camerata will perform a free concert at St. Mary Church in Hudson Dec. 9 at 3 p.m.

This chamber orchestra of 15 aspiring young musicians is conducted by Marcia Ferritto, former longtime resident of Hudson and faculty member at The Cleveland Institute of Music.

Selected by audition, these students of middle and high school age come from across the Cleveland-Akron area, including Hudson and Solon.

The Camerata will present a inspiring program of classics, including the Concerto Grosso No. 4 by Archangelo Corelli, Menuetto from String Quartet K. 465 by W.A. Mozart and the Prelude, Sarabande and Air from the Holberg Suite by Edvard Grieg.
