SULLIVAN — In honor of remembering those who have sacrificed for our country, the Black River FFA Chapter participated in the Sullivan Memorial Day parade and celebratory activities.
Members helped the Sullivan Township prepare for the event by placing American flags along the parade route. In addition, the group participated in the parade celebration.
The float was pulled by chapter vice president Eric Cordonnier.
The following members participated: Tessa Sprinkle, Amanda Mycek, Eric Cordonnier, Cori Aviles, Kaylnn Maurer, Hannah Heath, Callee Aviles and Coleton McCourt. Also representing the Black River FFA Chapter was Molly Cordonnier, Daniel Gorey and Jennasis Butler, who played in the band.
The chapter thanks Jerry Bauer of Bauer’s Towing for letting it use his International 1466 and Tom Resinger for the use of his hay wagon.
