Coach House Theatre will end its 2006-07 season with Agatha Christie's "A Murder is Announced," which opens May 31 and runs through June 23.The mystery begins when a personal ad in the local paper states the time and place that a murder will occur: Miss Blacklock's Victorian cottage in the village of Chipping Cleghorn. However, the victims winds up being an unexpected visitor to the establishment. Artistic director Jim Fippin will stage the production. This will be his last show as the theater's artistic director, a position which he has occupied for seven seasons.The cast includes Linda Ryan as Miss Marple; Steve Ryan as Inspector Craddock; Kathy Turk as Letitia Blacklock; Maureen Johnson as Dora Bunner; Christa Schwandt as Julia Simmons; Jeremy Joynt as Patrick Simmons; Jan Futhey as Clara; Rob Core as Edmund; Christina Gingerich as Phillipa Haymes; Stephan Collins as Rudy Scherz; Jessica McFall as Mitzi; and Greg Bealer as Sgt. Mellors.Shows are 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays.
